Amazon will hold Prime Big Deal Days from October 6 to 7, offering Prime members 48 hours of deals across more than 35 categories. The event begins at 12:01 a.m. PDT on October 6, and new limited-time deals are scheduled to appear three times each day—at midnight, 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. PDT—while supplies last.
The company said the event will cover millions of offers on major brands, seasonal products and everyday essentials, including beauty, technology, kitchen, fashion and home goods. Brands named in the announcement include Shark, Princess Polly and Soundcore by ANKER, alongside brands newly available on Amazon, trending products and new releases. Amazon also plans more than 100 featured Halloween offers, including costumes and accessories starting at $5 and candy priced below $10.
Selected grocery offers for same-day delivery will include Dietz and Watson salami for $3, Sabra hummus for $1, Amazon Kitchen Pico de Gallo for $1, cherry tomatoes for $1 and three avocados for $1. Amazon said discounts on selected grocery items will reach as much as 75%, with free delivery for Prime members on orders above $25 in most areas. Amazon Haul will offer seasonal décor and fashion items starting at $1, as well as discounts of up to 50% on selected game-day essentials.
Amazon is also promoting Alexa for Shopping as a way to track the event. According to the company, customers can create deal and price alerts for products or categories, set a target price and enable Auto-Buy so Alexa automatically purchases an item when it reaches that price. Shoppers can also review as much as 365 days of pricing information for hundreds of millions of products, check whether saved items are discounted and request notifications about new product launches.
A Prime membership is required to access all Prime Big Deal Days offers. Amazon lists the standard price as $14.99 per month or $139 per year, with a free 30-day trial for eligible customers. Adults ages 18 to 24 and college students can receive a six-month trial of Prime for Young Adults before paying $7.49 per month or $69 per year; eligible government-assistance recipients and customers with verified income can try Prime Access for 30 days before paying $6.99 per month.
The event will be available to Prime members in 22 countries, including the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, the United Kingdom, Japan and several European markets, although dates may vary by country. Amazon said early offers are already available on its devices, Kindle, Amazon Haul and Amazon Music.
