Amazon has opened selected Prime Big Deal Days offers to Prime members ahead of the October 6–7, 2026, sales event, the company announced on September 14. The 48-hour event begins at 12:01 a.m. PDT on October 6 and will feature millions of deals across more than 35 categories, with a Prime membership required to access them.
Among the early promotions, customers who buy or lease an eligible new sedan, SUV, or truck through Amazon Autos from September 15 through October 7 can receive a $1,500 Amazon Gift Card. Amazon said Prime members will receive the card by email after collecting the vehicle from a participating local dealership; terms and conditions apply.
Amazon is also advertising discounts of up to 45% on selected devices and bundles, including Amazon Ember televisions, the Ring Battery Doorbell Plus Bundle and the Kindle Colorsoft Essentials Bundle. Selected Blink bundles are discounted by up to 70%. Amazon Haul items start at $1, while specified game-day products are reduced by up to 50%, home décor is priced below $8 and fall fashion starts below $6.
Other early offers include three free months of Kindle Unlimited, print-book discounts of up to 65%, two free Amazon First Reads Kindle books for Prime members and four months of Audible Standard at $0.99 per month. Eligible Prime members who have not tried Amazon Music Unlimited can receive four months free, while non-Prime members can receive three months free. Separate introductory and Family Plan promotions are also available under stated eligibility conditions.
Prime cardmembers can earn 10% back or more on selected brands and categories from September 15 through October 6. Eligible customers can also receive checkout discounts when redeeming American Express Membership Rewards or Mercury points during specified periods. Higher-education students and adults ages 18–24 can receive an additional 5% cash back on eligible Prime Big Deal Days purchases in selected categories, according to Amazon.
Prime costs $14.99 per month or $139 per year, with a free 30-day trial available to eligible customers. Amazon offers eligible young adults a six-month trial followed by a discounted price of $7.49 per month or $69 per year, while qualifying government-assistance recipients and income-verified customers can receive a 30-day Prime Access trial followed by a $6.99 monthly rate. Prime members can also receive $20 off Grubhub orders of at least $30 using the code “DEALS20” from September 14 through October 5, subject to terms and conditions.
